What is a prescriber fee?
In Ontario, only Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or physicians can prescribe medications used in medical aesthetic treatments. Our clinic's Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) can provide the treatments, however a prescription from the NP is required. This ensures your treatment is safe, personalized, and fully compliant with regulations.
-
This fee is one-time per treatment type per year.
-
We absorb part of the cost, so you only pay a portion instead of the full fee.
-
The professional prescriber fee covers the NP’s initial assessment (virtually) and prescription for each new treatment type.
